Grisham Tolbert Interiors is a Mountain Brook–based residential interior design studio founded by Virginia Grisham and Eleanor Tolbert in 2022. Rooted in timeless design and thoughtful collaboration, the studio creates homes that feel personal, elegant, warm, and effortlessly livable.

After spending years refining their craft within Birmingham’s design community, Virginia and Eleanor established their flagship studio in Mountain Brook Village — a natural extension of both their creative partnership and longstanding ties to the community.

The studio is known for layered interiors that balance beauty with comfort, blending antiques, heirlooms, custom furnishings, textiles, and collected details to create spaces that feel refined without feeling formal. Every project is approached with the belief that a home should reflect the people who live there and evolve thoughtfully over time.

Virginia and Eleanor are particularly passionate about helping clients uncover what feels authentic to them, whether through a whole-home renovation, a furnishings plan, or the thoughtful evolution of a single room. Their process is collaborative and tailored, blending practical planning with a refined eye for detail to create interiors that feel timeless, comfortable, and unmistakably personal.
